Signs, Signs Everywhere are Signs

The signs are here!
Here is the first portion of a wall finished and shelf (where my c-pap sits) up!

You can see the shelf brackets which I can also hang things on, using the open curls.
The purple box on the left is my charging station.

Cutting the signs is easy with a Dremel and some metal cut off wheels! A spray bottle with water helps keep the metal cool.

And just to prove the signs are NOT stolen, the stickers that prove I bought them from the City of Victorville when they had a store at the county fair selling off old signs.

Loft Floor is beautiful

The sleeping loft floor is stained to match the Black Cherry shelves and looks great!
So, the push is ON to get finished this month!
Once the walls are wired and plumbed, I add just a little bit more insulation.
This keeps there from being a direct connection from wood that also touches the outside. You can also see the metal trim around the windows.
The street signs that will be my interior walls go over all that.

POWER!!!!!

Finally! My THOW is self contained, plugged in as a unit to the 30 amp RV socket!
Weather tight too!

Of course, first came the panel.
Connected this morning by T. Gil Electric. If you are in the High Desert and need work done for your Tiny House, these are the guys to call!

Here it is with the first outlet wired and working!!! Yes, it's really big for a THOW. But I do plan in the future to have a large solar system and this gives me a lot of room to expand and for someone in the future to run in more power if they want to. My late Hubby always said "It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it!"

Outside and upstairs windows!!!

Wow! What a difference a week can make!
This week a great friend came down from Reno and spent the last week helping me get stuff done.
It helped a lot that he is really tall, so reaching all that stuff on the second floor was easy for him.
Doesn't it look amazing? I have some small things like trim to add, and one window in the storage loft that can wait. I am really beat, but oh so happy! The next post will have more pictures and a look at some inside work done too!

Framing!

Buckled down and got my composting toilet framed in...

And got the wall up for the shower too!

If you look to the right inside the tub, you will see two white tanks. Those are my water tanks! So the tub will be raised up to accommodate one underneath (I'm still short enough to stand in it and shower) with room for the drain plumbing. The other will go somewhere else, not quite sure exactly where.
Moving Forward at full speed!

Wind and Rain

Moving forward with a small detour:)
Had some trees go down in the wind and rain, so......
Had to do chainsawing
Both front and back yards...

Cut some slices for my Daughter.
Then got rid of 500 vinyl LP's.
So, I feel good even though I haven't worked on my THOW the last few days.

Insulated!

Got the first 3 inches of insulation in, will put the rest in place after the plumbing and electrical are in!

See how bright it is with all the downstairs windows in!

Extra insulation in the storage loft.
Now, onward to interior walls!
After I get my truck out of the shop:(
